Terms of Service
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Acceptance
By installing the Tab Piles browser extension or purchasing a Pro license, you agree to these terms.
The free tier
The free version of Tab Piles is provided as-is, free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. We may change or discontinue free-tier features with reasonable notice.
The Pro tier
Pro subscriptions (monthly, yearly) auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel anytime via the link in your purchase confirmation email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The Lifetime tier is a one-time purchase that grants Pro features and updates for the lifetime of the product (defined as: as long as Tab Piles continues to operate as a service).
Refunds
All Pro purchases come with a 14-day refund window, no questions asked. Email tabpiles.support@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase to request a refund.
License keys
A Pro license key entitles activation on up to 5 devices. We detect and may block activation on more than 5 devices in a 30-day window. If you need additional activations (e.g., new laptop), email support and we'll release a slot.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tab Piles to store illegal content, to circumvent rate limits or terms of services of other websites, or in any way that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts engaged in such activity, with refund of any unused subscription portion.
Service availability
Pro features that rely on our cloud-sync endpoint (cloud sync, license validation) are provided on a commercially-reasonable-effort basis. We target 99.5% monthly uptime. If sustained downtime substantially impairs Pro features for more than 7 days in a month, Pro subscribers may request a prorated refund.
Liability
Tab Piles is provided as-is. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the extension or service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via the landing page and (for Pro subscribers) via email at least 14 days before taking effect.
